Straight Forward is a venture established by Gert-Jan Ketelaar, in which he gives trainings to managers and teams of employees at organizations and companies as a trainer/coach. The trainings are adapted in suit the specific requirements of the organization. Within such sessions, topics such as cooperation, resistance, leadership, conflict handling, and stress handling are brought into light. By definition people are able show more of themselves in the training then at sessions where such topics are only discussed. Moreover the exercises of Ving Tsun Kung Fu are both a physical and mental trainings. There is always room for discussion and matters can be tackled seriously but with a degree of levity. This gives a burst of new energy to “get back to business”. Employees form the most important capital of an organization but changes occur with increasing frequency. Therefore, it is important that the human capital of an organization continues to develop.

As a coach Gert-Jan, leads people who are looking for more self-insight and/or want to develop more self-confidence. The individual coaching is also very appropriate for those who are looking for more pleasure in work and co-operation, but also for personal questions, career questions and reintegration questions. In the 25+ years Gert-Jan has been teaching, he has built up people skills by training with several people and groups in the years gone by. In order to further develop himself, his current psychology study has reinforced his skills set. Via enthusiastic students and their stories of how strong an influence Ving Tsun has been in their life, companies have also requested him to give trainings for businesses. This way people from businesses can now experience the possibilities of its way of thinking, principles and contexts.
